Under the direction and guidance of the CIO, the Strategy & Architecture Manager will be responsible for identifying and defining the IT strategy and ensuring that all is in-line with the overall business objectives and mission. Having the task of building a Digital Bank, this position will play the pivotal role of moving the organisation into a digital platform.
Leading a team of 7, you will ensure there is an effective relationship, not only with the IT Team but leadership teams across the business including (but not limited to): CIO, Strategy and Project Teams and external stakeholders.
Leading the development of strategy plans for 2018, you will be responsible for improving the interface between IT and business through system reviews, technical improvements, enterprise architecture development and presenting business cases to the executive board.
- Banking and Finance Experience is essential
- Experience managing a major digital transformation project
- Knowledge of current IT trends and technologies in the market
- Experience designing solutions within a finance industry essential
- Budget management
- Ability to manage and lead IT Teams
- Ability to work within complex environments
- Experience managing and implementing IT strategies aligned to business plans
- Vendor and IT supplier management
It is essential that the successful applicant hold an appropriate tertiary qualification (desirably in PM, Strategy and Architecture frameworks, software development lifecycles or IT management)
